Billy
The BILLY modular sofa is defined by its fluid and enveloping form, capable of transforming space into a soft and continuous landscape.
Its rounded, edge-free geometries evoke the sculptural research of Henry Moore, where solid and empty volumes interact to create welcoming and almost “habitable” surfaces. Just as in Moore’s works, the shape here invites touch, suggesting a physical and sensory relationship with the object.
The sofa is developed as an extremely contemporary modular system: a free composition that adapts naturally to the space while maintaining a strong visual identity.
From a functional perspective, the project integrates advanced solutions that enhance the user experience:
• ZERO GRAVITY: a mechanism that promotes total body relaxation by simulating the sensation of weightlessness.
• ZERO WALL: a space-saving system that allows the sofa to recline without moving backward.
• DUAL MOTOR: the right-hand element features a dual electric motor for personalized relaxation, introducing a dimension of advanced comfort that brings the body into a position of balance and lightness.
The result is a sofa that transcends function to become an experience of contemporary design, where the softness of the shapes meets technological innovation in perfect balance.
